Q. What is the Music Hall?

A. Music Hall is a place where educators and students can find over a thousand music resources, carefully organized for quick navigation. The Music Hall is sponsored by Gaylord Digital, which provides us each month with interviews with rising stars and professionals in the music industry.

Q. What will I find in the "Artist Profile" section?

A. Each month, the "Artist Profile" section spotlights a new musician. Learn more about how these musicians got their start, where they are headed, and what advice they have to give for those just starting out.

Q. What will I find in the "Behind the Scenes" section?

A. Check out the "Behind the Scenes" section each month for a new interview with a music industry professional - such as a Record Label Executive or a Sound Engineer - and learn what his or her job entails and how you might get there.

Q. What will I find under the "Sound Off" header?

A. Sound Off is an online poll on the state of music today. Take the poll, then click "Vote!" to see the results.

Q. What will I find under the "Music Education Center" section?

A. Under Music Education Center, you'll find easy-to-navigate headers - such as "Instrumental Music" - with a list of text links to content pages, just a click away. For example, if you play the piano and are looking for resources to help you improve, look under "Instrumental Music,"click on "Keyboard," and then you'll be taken to a resource page on keyboard instruments. Once there, choose a topic from the right hand menu - such as "Technique and Instruction" - and you'll find links to Web sites that will help you improve your technique.
